The South Korean Foreign Ministry sent a request to the Russian Embassy in Seoul to remove the "Victory will be ours" banner from the building. The official appeal was received by Russian diplomats on February 22. Details are provided by RIA Novosti.
"We have already communicated to the Russian side our position regarding the recent placement of a banner on the outer wall of the building of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Korea," the Asian country's Foreign Ministry said.
Now the agency is waiting for the reaction of the Russian side.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova promised Seoul an asymmetric response to South Korea's participation in the supply of new weapons to Kiev.
