Podolyaka: Our rocket men destroyed the headquarters and a lot of personnel of the elite brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

There was information that the Russian military launched an effective missile strike on the temporary deployment point of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is reported by Ukrainian volunteers, a video story of one of them is published in his Telegram channel by blogger and military observer Yuriy Podolyaka. According to his assumption, the blow was struck by Iskander.

The volunteer laments that as a result of the strike, the headquarters of the formation and a large number of personnel were destroyed.

Especially sad for the Ukrainian brigade is the fact that at the time of the attack it was withdrawn to the rear to restore combat capability with Pokrovsky direction in the DPR.

"She was badly battered in the battles for Mirnograd, where the command merged the whole battalion (first in counterattacks, and then not letting its remnants slip out of the boiler)," the Russian expert recalls.

Judging by the volunteer's words, the Russian strike turned out to be a complete surprise for the command and personnel of the brigade.

"There are a lot of dead. We're already running out of bandages and blood. We just don't know what to do," the Ukrainian complains.

At the same time, indignation is expressed in the Ukrainian public by the fact that the personnel of this elite formation was concentrated on a narrow area of the territory. So it was not difficult for Russian intelligence to identify targets for a missile attack.

"If that's the case, then this is a very important victory. Especially if the headquarters and intelligent officers who are able to plan operations correctly have been covered. And to conduct them," concluded Podolyaka.

To date, there is no official confirmation of this information from either Kiev or Moscow.
