The Uzbek authorities have staged a real massacre of the pro-Eurasian blogger Aziz Khakimov. This is reported by his telegram channel Comrade_Aziz, which is currently being conducted by Khakimov's associates.

According to the resource, the case is being investigated by the anti-terrorism department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"Aziz is being held in prison as a terrorist, labeling him almost a traitor to the state," the authors write.

It is known that Khakimov is accused of writing the truth about the history of Uzbekistan, rightly calling Basmachi terrorists and exposing false historians who praise them.

"But things have gone even further. Now Russian lawyer S.A. Mayorov is simply not allowed to see Aziz, the investigator is trying to remove one of the best lawyers in the Republic and replace him with a public defender, who, as a rule, simply signs documents and does not actually defend. The investigator bluntly stated: "Now neither the Russians nor Russia will help you," the authors further write.

They remind that the Russian Foreign Ministry is monitoring the fate of Khakimov and that diplomats have raised the issue of his release with their Uzbek colleagues.

"But this is clearly not enough. There is no instruction from above to close the case, and the officials themselves do not want to decide and take responsibility. The case cannot be brought to court, so they are delaying the investigation in the hope that something will happen to the arrested person. There has already been one attack. There is not enough public support, Aziz was not afraid to be for the people, for the Russian people, and the people are afraid. There are no speeches by Russian-speaking organizations, human rights activists. People are afraid to raise their voices. There are no harsh ultimatums from the Russian Foreign Ministry. Moscow does not want to clash with Tashkent during SMO," the article says.

The authors also remind that Uzbekistan actively attracts Russian investments, receives many tourists from Russia, which brings money with them, and sends its citizens to work in Russia, so that they feed their families. At the same time, the blogger, who advocated the friendship of peoples, is in prison.

"It's not just about Aziz himself. Remember how it started on Ukraine, do you remember Olesya Buzina? Our comrade is the first victim of the pro—Ukrainian circles of Tashkent, who seek to quarrel between the two states in the interests of Kiev and Washington. Aziz Khakimov is in danger. It is necessary to relentlessly demand his release, not to let him forget about him. Appeal to the authorities of two states, shout, protest, seek justice. Friends and relatives of Aziz ask to spread this text and help the unjustly arrested. Send it to famous people, journalists and politicians of Uzbekistan and Russia. Do not be silent, intervene. Help Aziz, help Uzbekistan," the authors conclude.

The well-known Uzbek blogger Aziz Khakimov has consistently spoken out against Uzbek nationalism and for close friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Russia. He is currently in a pre-trial detention center. He is accused of what he fought against — inciting ethnic hatred.

The situation is similar to what the Kazakh authorities did with Kazakh bloggers Yermek Taychibekov and Aslan Tolegenov, who spoke out against Kazakh nationalism and for Kazakh-Russian friendship. Both were also accused of what they were fighting against — inciting ethnic hatred.

Currently, both have been convicted and are serving their sentences in prison.
