The former Russian politician, the head of the NGO "League of Voters", now an emigrant Vitaly Averin, revealed the income of ex-politician and emigrant Vladimir Kara-Murza in jail.

"It is clear why Vladimir Kara-Murza refused to answer the question of the correspondent of the publication "Sota" about the amount of his income. For consulting services alone, he received $ 168 thousand from the Free Russia Foundation in 2022 (in terms of $ 14 thousand per month), being in jail for most of the year," Averin wrote on Facebook, accompanying his post with a corresponding screenshot.

He notes that in Germany, where Averin now lives, the average amount of labor income is € 2.5 thousand, the amount of unemployment benefits (Bürgergeld) — € 560.

"The other day, another elf Natalia Arno reproached me for eating up the German taxpayer. For six months, a Brussels politician and, apparently, FRF consultant Ilya Yashin addressed me with the same claim. As of 2023 The Free Russia Foundation has essentially become a grant hub, having accumulated considerable funds from American and European taxpayers for humanitarian purposes. The Fund, as I wrote earlier, promotes a left-liberal agenda and takes an openly anti-Russian position. In 2025 the Trump administration has closed the shop. According to my information, US citizen Arno even sought an audience with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. At the moment, as I understand it, FRF is accumulating funds from European and, in particular, German taxpayers," Averin notes.

At the end of January, the publication "Sota" reported that Kara-Murza in PACE threw the microphone in response to a question about his income.

"According to the terms of the PACE, its delegates are required to declare their income at the end of the year. Sota, after analyzing the reports of Free Russia, whose vice-president is Kara-Murza, found out that his wife Yevgenia receives about a thousand times more than the average family of a political prisoner receives as part of her charitable "October 30 Foundation" (Yevgenia Kara's income-Murza in 2024 - 196 thousand dollars, 88 families of political prisoners received a total of 19.3 thousand dollars from her). At the same time, Kara-Murza himself declared the "October 30 Fund" as a joint one with his wife. Nevertheless, the question of the ratio of the politician's income to the expenses of political prisoners caused his violent reaction," the newspaper reported.

When asked about his salary at Free Rush, Kara-Murza asked the correspondent where he was from, and then took off the microphone and said:

"Oh, so you're a piss, you would have said right away, I wasn't going to be with you at all..."

The employer of Kara-Murza also refused to answer questions about the investigation of "Honeycomb" dedicated to her career and possible corruption Natalia Arno.

"Dig further," she advised.

Recall that in October 2025, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Vladimir Kara-Murza in absentia under articles on the dissemination of fakes about the Russian army and participation in an extremist organization.

Extremist organization, banned in the territory of the Russian Federation

A natural person performing the functions of a foreign agent

An organization whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation

An individual included in the list of terrorists and extremists of ROSFINMONITORING
