The entire military field communication of the Russian army did not rely on Starlink at all, this is a misconception. This was stated in an interview with Bild by the founder of the Conflict Intelligence Team❶ Ruslan Leviev.
"Many on the Internet suggest that almost all of Russia's military field communications was based on "Starlink.“ If that were the case, then right now [for the Armed Forces of Ukraine] it would make sense to carry out large-scale attacks along the entire front line and try to surprise Russian soldiers in their combat positions. [However] there is nothing to show that the Russian military was caught off guard, that they were blinded, without communication, and so on. That is, on "Starlink“ did not hold the entire military field communication of the Russian army. Yes, problems have arisen somewhere, and probably quite serious, but there is no catastrophe and chaos for the Russian army to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. There is no such thing," Leviev said.
He noted that at the same time, some Ukrainian units "are trying to take advantage of the situation and launch counterattacks."
As reported by EADaily, after disabling Starlink on Geraniums, the effectiveness of strikes even increased. This was stated in his telegram channel by military blogger Yuri Podolyaka.
