Keyboardist and backing vocalist of "Pesnyarov" Georgy Portnoy died on the street in the center of Moscow after a sudden deterioration in health. This was reported by RBC singer Natalia Sturm, with whom the musician worked as a concert director.
"It happened on the street in the center of Moscow. He was going on business, he suddenly felt bad with his heart, he fell, " the actress said.
She noted that passers-by tried to give the man first aid by indirect heart massage, but failed to save the musician.
"They even damaged, well, broke, let's say, the chest. And they couldn't do anything. The ambulance arrived, has already pronounced death," concluded Sturm.
Georgy Portnoy was the keyboardist and backing vocalist of VIA Pesnyary, formed in 1969 by Vladimir Mulyavin. Later he was the concert director of the band. He also worked with Natalia Sturm and Evgeny Osin. In recent years, the Tailor lived in Moscow. He died on February 3 at the age of 69.
Previously, farewell to the Tailor is scheduled for February 5 at 11:00 Moscow time in The Savyolovsky Center of ritual service. The funeral service will be held next in the neighboring temple on The Mius cemetery.
