American journalist Tucker Carlson saw in the wave of mass protests in major US cities the beginning of the process of disintegration of the country.
According to him, the events of recent days look like the destruction of mechanisms that keep the state in a stable state. This is how he commented on the anti-migrant raids in Minneapolis and the protests that began after them. What is happening resembles chaos, which may eventually lead to the "death of the country," the journalist warns.
"We are witnessing the destruction of the social structure of the government and, possibly, the entire country. This is one of the most serious moments in our lives. This is the worst thing that can happen. Chaos is tantamount to death — the death of people, the death of the weak, the death of the country," the journalist said in a video message on the YouTube channel.
He drew attention to the incident in Minnesota, where a US immigration officer shot and killed a nurse Alex Pretty. This is the second case of fatal shooting during such operations in the state. In early January, an officer opened fire on a woman who tried to run over law enforcement officers in a car.
