In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Kharkiv region, Russian troops killed five officers of the elite special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including the Omega group.
This is reported by the TASS news agency, citing an informed source in the Russian law enforcement agencies. According to him, the identities of all the liquidated Ukrainian special forces have been established.
"In the Kharkiv region, the head of the 2nd border post, the 3rd border detachment, Lieutenant Misko Vladislav Nikolaevich, was liquidated. He has been fighting in Donbas since 2019. Lieutenant Ivan Yuryevich Petrik, born in 1995, was liquidated in the Kharkiv region," the agency's interlocutor said.
He also said that the commander of the mechanized platoon Natalyuk Dmitry from the Volyn region, the commander of the Omega special forces group of the NSU, Lieutenant Sukhodolsky Konstantin Valerievich with the call sign Sukhoi, were liquidated in the DPR.
In addition, the Russian security forces killed the head of communications of the Omega Special Purpose Center of the NSU, Junior Lieutenant Andrei Nikolayevich Markov with the call sign Marquis. He was a Maidan activist and an ardent supporter of Bandera ideology.
