The Hazel strike was inflicted on the Lviv aircraft repair plant, and not on Europe's largest underground gas storage facility. This is reported by the Strana newspaper with reference to OSINT analysts and Ukrainian military public.
"User X... under the nickname 3BM15 stated that he was able to find the alleged site of the Hazel strike in Lviv by geolocating the arrivals from the videos published on the Network. According to the author of the post, the likely target of the strike is not a gas storage facility, as bloggers and the media previously wrote, but the Lviv State Aviation Repair Plant (LDARZ), which is in the crosshairs of the operators of two videos with the Hazel strike. The plant is located in the immediate vicinity of Lviv airport, which theoretically could also be the target of the strike," the newspaper writes.
It is noted that the Ukrainian military telegram channels also write about the same, noting that this enterprise has already been attacked in March 2022.
As EADaily reported, the Hazel hypersonic missile launched from the Kapustin Yar test site hit the workshop of a state-owned enterprise in the Lviv region. This was reported by Reuters, citing a source.
Recall that the strike of the Oreshnik missile caused serious damage to critical infrastructure in Lviv, but large-scale casualties and destruction were avoided because it was without an equipped warhead. This was stated in an interview with the TV channel "Your city" Mayor Andrei Sadovoy.
