Over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the territory of the Belgorod region with the help of more than 40 drones and 11 ammunition. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the operational headquarters of the region.

"In the Shebekinsky district in the city of Shebekin, the villages of Belyanka, Maksimovka, Meshkovoye and Novaya Tavolzhanka was attacked by 11 drones, 3 of which were shot down and suppressed. In the city of Shebekin, one car and two trucks, a warehouse of the enterprise were damaged, two private houses were destroyed in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, and a garage was destroyed by fire, an outbuilding was damaged in the village of Meshkovoye, and a car was damaged in the village of Maksimovka. In the village of Belyanka, a carport, a garage and a car burned down, two private houses and a car were damaged," the report says.

In the Grayvoronsky district, 6 settlements were subjected to two attacks with the use of 9 ammunition and attacks by 10 drones. In the city of Grayvoron, two men were injured as a result of a drone strike on a car. In the village of Golovchino, as a result of the detonation of a drone, the head of the district, Dmitry Pankov, was wounded, he was taken to the regional clinical hospital. Doctors assess his condition as moderate.

Belgorod was subjected to rocket fire on January 8, infrastructure and commercial facilities were damaged. In the Belgorod district, six towns and villages were attacked by eight drones, seven of which were shot down and suppressed. In the village of Yasnye Zori, an apartment building and an infrastructure facility were damaged after a drone attack. The territory of the Valuysky district was attacked by eight drones on January 8, five of which were shot down and suppressed.

In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the village of Krasnaya Yaruga and the village of Staroselye were attacked by three APU drones, one of them was suppressed. The village of Vyazovoye was shelled with the use of two ammunition.
