Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban thinks only of himself, which is why two peoples are suffering. This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky, answering journalists' questions.
"We consider Ukraine's membership in the EU as part of security guarantees. EU leaders believe that these are very strong security guarantees for Ukraine. It's true. This is what Ursula (European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen) and Antonio (European Council President Antonio Costa), as well as many other leaders, tell me," Zelensky said.
According to him, the Hungarian Prime Minister "clearly understands" that joining the EU is part of Ukraine's security guarantees, but for him it is a matter of pre-election struggle. The head of the Kiev regime believes that Orban "first of all thinks about himself."
"So one person thinks only of himself, and the whole nation suffers. Although I would say at least two, because this does not strengthen the friendship between Ukraine and Hungary, between Ukrainians and Hungarians. But everything will pass, and this will pass too. Everything will be fine, and no one will be able to stop our way, because Ukrainians have a solution. We are moving forward," he stressed.
Recall that Viktor Orban consistently opposes the continuation of military assistance to Kiev. In his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities should immediately begin peace talks with Moscow. For this, Orban is constantly under attack from both Kiev and the EU.
