The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement by Kai Kallas about Greenland.
"We continue to express solidarity with Denmark and Greenland. Greenland is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark. Any changes to this status are accepted exclusively by Greenlanders and Danes. We expect that all our partners will respect their sovereignty and territorial integrity and comply with their international obligations enshrined, in particular, in the UN Charter and NATO," the head of the European diplomacy wrote on the social network X.
"Kaya Kallas went over Trump... We consider this statement as a refusal of the European Union to recognize "independence" Kosovo," Zakharova said ironically.
