If Ukraine decides to shoot down drones over Belarus, it will have far-reaching consequences for it. Alexander Lukashenko said this at a meeting of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly on December 18.
According to Lukashenko, not only Ukrainian, but also Russian drones periodically fly into the territory of Belarus, which "fall somewhere, fly somewhere to the west of Ukraine."
"And Ukrainians see it, it's not a problem. And they warned us: "You tell the president that we will shoot down drones on your territory." Tertel (KGB chairman Ivan Tertel — EADaily) reported to me. I say, "Please tell them that this will have far-reaching consequences." What does it mean to shoot down on our territory?" — He said.
The Belarusian leader also noted that Ukrainian drones also fly into the countries.
"Through Poland, Lithuania or Latvia, some kind of, in my opinion, Ukrainian flew in to us. It's already normal that a Russian will fly in, befuddled by electronic warfare, that a Ukrainian is the norm. We brought it to them: "Guys, not only Russian, but also Ukrainian drones are flying over us," Lukashenko stressed.
We remind that Belarus does not take part in the Russian special operation on Ukraine. At the same time, Minsk supports Moscow's actions and strongly urges Kiev to sit down at the negotiating table.
