NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte may lose his post for attacks against Russia. This was stated in an interview with the Mandiner portal by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Obran.
So he commented on Rutte's words that NATO could become Russia's next target, so European countries should increase defense spending in order to be ready to "fight the Russians."
According to Orban, such speeches can now cost Rutte his position, since his speeches contradict the position of the United States.
"Mark Rutte's words are alarming because, in addition to recalling the horrors of the war of the past, they also contradict what the Americans are saying. The question is, what will the American president say to this, will the NATO Secretary General have a post after that?" said Orban, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, NATO countries may become Russia's next target. This was stated by the Secretary General of the alliance Mark Rutte, CNN reported. Rutte said this, urging members of the bloc to increase defense spending as quickly as possible in order to prevent a war "like the one seen by past generations."
