The singer, People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina has lost the right to all trademarks registered in the Russian Federation. This is evidenced by the data of the electronic database of Rospatent.
In particular, applications for registration of Nadezhda Babkina trademarks, as well as personal paintings of the singer and her initials were submitted to the department in 2015. In 2016, Rospatent decided to register these brands. The exclusive right to them in relation to Babkina was valid until September of this year.
"Under these trademarks, Babkina could sell jewelry and textiles, bags, clothes, shoes, hats and accessories," RIA Novosti reports.
As EADaily reported, in early December, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Babkina the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
It was specified that Babkina was awarded for "a great contribution to the development of national culture and active fruitful social activities."
