A resident of Belarus stole two tons of bacon from his former boss to take revenge on him for his dismissal. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
It is reported that the entrepreneur from Mogilev district appealed to the police with a statement about a major theft of goods,.
"It has been established that two tons of fat disappeared from the warehouse of a 25-year-old businessman. The police found out that a 22-year—old acquaintance of the victim, who previously worked for him, but was recently fired, was involved in the theft,"the report says.
According to law enforcement officers, the attacker was driven by a "thirst for revenge."
"Under the pretext of picking up his belongings, he entered the warehouse and took out the lard briquettes. He hid the stolen goods at his dacha and was going to sell them," said Andrei Bankov, deputy head of the criminal investigation department of the Mogilev ROVD.
However, police officers prevented the man's plans. The stolen products worth 30 thousand Belarusian rubles (about 800 thousand Russian rubles) were seized and returned to the rightful owner. A criminal case has been opened against the man on the fact of theft on a large scale.
