EADaily reminds: On November 28, it became known about explosions on two sub—sanctioned tankers of the Russian Federation — Kairo and Virat - near the Bosphorus in the Black Sea.
Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that on November 28, in the southern part of the Black Sea, not far from the coast of Turkey, Ukrainian Sea Baby unmanned boats attacked and damaged tankers Cairo and Virat, sailing under the flag of the Gambia to the port of Novorossiysk. The next morning the tanker "Virat" was attacked again.
In the early morning of November 29, in the seaport of Novorossiysk, also as a result of an attack by the same Sea Baby sea drones, the VPU-2 outrigger berthing device belonging to the international Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which unites fuel and energy complex enterprises from Russia, Kazakhstan, the USA and a number of Western European countries. The special services of the Kiev regime actually announced their involvement in these attacks by publishing video evidence of the terrorist acts committed in the Ukrainian media.
Later it became known that the explosion occurred on the third tanker carrying Russian oil in the last few days. We are talking about the oil tanker Mersin, where four external explosions thundered, a representative of the Besiktas Shipping company serving the ship told Bloomberg. This time the incident took place near the capital of Senegal — Dakar off the west coast of Africa.
According to Besiktas Shipping, as a result of explosions and a hole in the hull, water began to enter the engine room of the Mersin carrying diesel fuel. The vessel, however, remains in stable condition, and its crew is safe. There was no environmental pollution, the company reported. According to Kpler analysts, the vessel transported gas oil (a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons — a product of oil refining) and this year it entered Russian ports several times.
As stated the day before, on December 1, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, Moscow sees a direct link between Kiev's attempts to hinder the efforts of US President Donald Trump to bring sustainable peace to the Ukraine and the terrorist attacks of the Zelensky regime in the Black Sea.
