As reported by EADaily, it became known earlier that a criminal case was opened against Razin under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud). According to Asel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya's lawyer, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of embezzlement of funds, which should be the licensed remuneration of the poet Sergei Kuznetsov for the performance of songs. The injured party in the case is the poet's widow.
According to the investigation, Razin for a long time used a fake contract with Kuznetsov to receive money as the copyright holder of musical works.
