An attack is being prepared on Poland — Chief of the General Staff

The enemy has begun preparations for an armed attack on the territory of Poland. This was stated by the chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army Weslav Kukula.

"The enemy has begun preparations for war. He creates a certain environment here, the purpose of which is to undermine public confidence in the government, in such basic structures as the Armed Forces and the police, as well as to create conditions conducive to potential aggression on the territory of Poland," he said.

At the same time, he did not say who exactly he considers an opponent.

Earlier it became known that the Polish Ministry of Defense began to prepare the country for defense in the event of war. To this end, the country has taken steps to increase the army and modernize it.
