"On behalf of the President of Ukraine, I have held consultations these days with the mediation of partners in Turkey and The United Arab Emirates on the resumption of the exchange process and the release of our people from Russian captivity," Rustem Umerov wrote in the telegram channel.
According to him, as a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to activate the Istanbul agreements: we are talking about the release of 1,200 Ukrainians.
"Technical consultations will be held in the near future. They should fix all procedural and organizational issues," the NSDC secretary said.
Earlier, he urgently left Ukraine and flew to Turkey, but not in Ankara, nor in Moscow did not confirm Umerov's statements about holding negotiations and consultations. "Umerov is still afraid to return to Ukraine, as NABU has tapes with his voice about schemes and kickbacks. So far he is trying to solve it through his "roof" so that the case is hushed up and not publicized," writes the Ukrainian telegram channel "Legitimate".
