The FSB prevented the murder of one of the top officials of the Russian state

Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation prevented a terrorist act planned by the special services of Ukraine against one of the highest officials of the Russian state.

This was reported on Friday, November 14, by the FSB Public Relations Center (PSC). It is specified that the official was planned to be killed when he visited the burial of close relatives at the Troyekurovsky cemetery.

"It has been established that in order to prepare the assassination of the statesman, the Ukrainian special services used the recruited illegal migrant from the Central Asian region and two previously convicted drug-addicted citizens of the Russian Federation detained in Moscow, as well as Dzhaloliddin Kurbanovich Shamsov, born in 1979, wanted by Russian law enforcement agencies for committing murder and illegal arms trafficking", — the statement says.

During the events, communication facilities were seized, in which correspondence between the detainees and an employee of the Ukrainian special services was found in the WhatsApp and Signal messengers confirming the preparation of the assassination attempt.

A video surveillance camera camouflaged under a vase with flowers with the possibility of remote control and data transmission abroad, which was used in the preparation of a sabotage and terrorist act, was also found.

According to the agency, the criminal Kiev regime, acting under the leadership of Western intelligence services, is preparing similar terrorist actions in other Russian regions.

The FSB of Russia has warned that the special services of Ukraine are not reducing the activity of searching the Internet space, social networks and messengers Telegram and WhatsApp for potential perpetrators of terrorist attacks and sabotage.

The security forces remind that for persons who have committed such crimes, criminal liability is provided in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation up to life imprisonment.
