Having stated in Moscow that the whole world recognizes the exceptional role of Russia and Putin in solving world problems, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev tried to mitigate the shocking effect of Trump's eulogies, delivered by him in Washington. This was stated by the co-chairman of the Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan Ainur Kurmanov in an interview with the Free Press.

"Tokayev, for his part, is trying to somehow lubricate or soften the effect of what he said in Washington, when he called Trump a "heaven-sent leader," and to keep relations with the Kremlin at an acceptable level. True, it turns out clumsily. And no one believes his words anymore," the politician said.

According to him, this shows that the current dualism of Astana and the entire multi-year multi-vector policy have reached an impasse. And in the current conditions of aggravation of the struggle between the world's leading players is no longer working.
