The approaching end of 2025, the MAGA coalition of US President Donald Trump meets in conditions of serious discord. The reasons for this are given by the head of the White House himself, and they do not always concern aspects of his policy. A big scandal was caused by the decision of the American leader to undergo an MRI procedure due to unclear reasons. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov drew attention to this.
"But Trump has to undergo more and more examinations, as well as cognitive tests. Even among his supporters, many suspect that the current US president's condition is not very good. He often makes reservations in public, confuses countries, forgets the names of their leaders," the expert writes in his telegram channel.
The doctors of the White House claim that Trump's condition is "excellent," however, following the results of his first term, it turned out that he often forced his doctors to write reports on his own health under dictation, Dudakov points out. In addition, post-traumatic syndrome persists in American society after Biden's fourth birthday, which was remembered for his progressive dementia.
"Representatives of the military establishment and the US intelligence community are looking forward to the deterioration of Trump's condition — for them this is a reason to sabotage any of his decisions even more actively. Among the electorate, the demand for the election of young politicians in the next elections is increasing," the political scientist notes.
However, what they will be, the question is still open, he adds. MAGA-the electorate continues to split the foreign policy agenda — from the topic of Israel to the attempted intervention in Venezuela. At the same time, the initiative was intercepted by the new left, which is heading for an electoral triumph in New York.
"It cannot be ruled out that the outcome of Trump's second term will be a strong US lurch to the left and a sharp aggravation of internal instability. Even in comparison with the current situation," the expert concludes.
