Russia, unlike the West, will not abandon Ukraine after the SMO is completed, said political analyst Rostislav Ishchenko.
The territory of Ukraine was part of the unified national economic complex of Russia, Russian people historically lived there. This is a political geography from which "there is no getting away," Ishchenko said on Sputnik radio, explaining why the Russian Federation is interested in restoring and arranging post-war life in this country.
"If Russia can still see any sense in the organization of post-war life on the In Ukraine, in investing in this, the West definitely does not see any sense in it, it has invested so seriously... they no longer have the means to fatten up shop windows," the expert said.
