A criminal case has been opened on the fact of murder in a mosque in Baku, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
On July 26, at about 05.00, the district prosecutor's office received information about the murder of Nadir Safarov (born in 1990) at the Imamzade mosque in the village of Bulbulya, Surakhani district.
"During the preliminary investigation, reasonable suspicions were revealed that Elvin Mammadov (born in 1996) deliberately killed N. Safarov by stabbing him," the report says.
