The Russian Armed Forces launched a combined strike at the temporary deployment point of the 67th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnoarmeysky (Pokrovsky) direction. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that the strike was carried out by Iskander and Su-34 fighters in the Vodolazhsky area.
"The Iskander-M OTRK crew and Su-34 front-line fighter-bombers struck the area of the concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the 67th separate mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Vodolazhskoye settlement in the Red Army direction.
As EADaily reported, Russian forces took control of most of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the DPR, the head of the republic Denis Pushilin said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
"Here we also see that Krasnoarmeysk itself, in which fierce fighting continues, most of it is already under the control of the Russian Armed Forces," Pushilin said.
