The Russian army continues to expand its control zone on the outskirts of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the DPR and is approaching Gulyai-Pole in the Zaporozhye region. This was stated in his telegram channel by military correspondent Alexander Kots.

According to Kotz, Chunishino, the capture of located 3 km south of the outskirts of Pokrovsk and a kilometer south of the previously liberated Novopavlovka expanded the control zone on the outskirts of the city. Today, fighting is taking place in the western and central districts of the city.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Poltava was liberated by attack aircraft of the 57th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces. The assault was complicated by the need to force the Yanchur River on several sectors of the front at once, but with the support of aviation, artillery and UAVs, the task was solved.

It is noted that the enemy has lost a prepared defense area of more than 12 square kilometers. km.
