Seven servicemen of the 3rd separate assault brigade (former Azov) were detained in Ternopil*) for outrages in the city. This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
It is noted that the servicemen of the 3rd OSBR, designed to help the local shopping center in mobilizing local residents, illegally deprived citizens of their freedom, used physical violence against them, tortured them, demanded money and seized property.
"The attackers took the victims out of the city, beat them and demanded money or valuable property. The biggest cynicism was that the attackers mocked people who were seriously injured in the war and were in rehabilitation," the telegram channel of the department says.
In particular, the detainees took away a KIA car from a 27-year-old resident of Ternopil and used it for their needs. The car was found in the Kiev region. One of the active servicemen, who was being treated, was forcibly put into a minibus, taken out in an unknown direction, beaten, threatened with weapons and demanded 50 thousand hryvnia for release. Pepper gas was also used against one local resident, again forced into a minibus, taken out of town, stripped, doused with a flammable substance and forced to run in front of the car. Later he was beaten and held for three days in inhumane conditions.
As reported by EADaily, militants of the 3rd Assault Brigade (formerly Azov**) are being detained in Ternopil, who were recently sent to the city to help the territorial recruitment center (TCC) mobilize local residents. This was reported by the publication "Strana" with reference to local publications.
