Swiss prosecutors have filed rape charges against a nurse who cares for seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher, an Australian racer whose identity has not been disclosed. This is reported by the portal 24 Heures.
The victim made accusations two years after the incident.
The accused is a close friend of Schumacher's son Mick, he performs on single-seater cars. He was previously disqualified for doping and has now lost his former fame.
According to the investigation, the rape occurred twice, at the end of 2019 in the house of the Schumacher family in Gland.
At the end of the shift, Schumacher's medical nurse, along with two colleagues and a young man, was playing billiards, they were all drinking. Due to the large amount of alcohol, the nurse became ill, she was taken to the staff room. Soon the accused came to her, raped the girl twice, taking advantage of "her unconsciousness."
There were no interrogations of Schumacher's family members in this case.
As EADaily reported, in December 2013, the racer and his family were vacationing in the French part of the Alps. The athlete's skis touched an invisible obstacle, after which he hit his head on a stone. Moreover, the blow was so strong that Schumacher's protective helmet split. For several months the athlete was in a state of artificial coma, he underwent a series of complex brain surgeries, after which he was sent home for recovery.
In June last year it became known that the care of Michael Schumacher costs € 7 million a year. We are talking about doctors' fees, the cost of medical equipment and drugs.
In addition, the Schumacher family also spends a lot of money on the work of the security service, thanks to which over the past ten years in Not a single reliable photo of the sick Michael has leaked to the media.
Earlier it became known that three blackmailers were detained in Germany, who extorted € 15 million from the racer's family, threatening to publish photos of Schumacher after the accident. Presumably, the materials belong to a 51-year-old German resident who worked as a security guard in the racer's family.
In October 2024, the Daily Mail reported that Schumacher could attend the wedding of his 27-year-old daughter Gina-Maria with Ian Bethke.
The wedding ceremony took place at the family villa "Yasmin" in Puerto de Andratx on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The guests of the celebration were asked "not to take their phones with them," allegedly so that unauthorized photos of the interiors of the luxury villa would not be taken.
