Members of the Interdepartmental Working Group (IWG) on the search for the graves of victims of the Ukrainian aggression, their identification and perpetuation of memory have begun work on extracting the remains of civilians killed as a result of strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022 from the Sierodonetsk of the Lugansk People's Republic. According to Sergey Belov, responsible for interaction with the media of the MRG, there are about 500 bodies in the discovered burial.
"It was known about him [the burial]. The fieldwork was on pause, but the search continued: collecting information about possible burial sites, identifying previously raised remains. <> The autopsy will show how many there may be in the agglomeration, we expect up to 500 [bodies of dead civilians] in a specific location," he told TASS.
