Polish law enforcement agencies handed over to Ukraine a 16-year-old teenager whom Kiev accuses of working for the Russian special services. This is reported by Polish media with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine.
"The SBU counterintelligence service detained a minor agent of the Russian special services who was looking for customers for attempts on people's lives on Ukraine from the territory of the European Union. Most of the people recruited by him turned out to be teenagers looking for easy money ... The detention was carried out on the western border of Ukraine, where he was transferred by Polish law enforcement agencies as part of his forced return to the territory of Ukraine," the report says.
It is noted that the detainee is a resident of Kharkov, who in the fall of 2024 traveled "to one of the EU countries." After leaving Ukraine for the EU, the young Ukrainian began looking for work via telegram, where he allegedly "came to the attention of the Russian special services," who "instructed him to search for the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Ukraine".
"Two agents recruited by him — 15-year—old residents of Kharkov - in December 2024 carried out an explosion near police stations in Slobodsky and Kholodnogorsk districts of the city," the SBU said.
A teenager extradited by Poland to Ukraine, is in custody. He faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. At the same time, it should be noted that this is not the first time that the Poles, bypassing the extradition procedure (that is, extradition through the court), deport citizens of Ukraine.
