Ukrainian troops are preparing to surrender the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) to the DPR, said Mikhail Chelenko, a captured soldier of the elite Skala unit.
"The city is being prepared for surrender, because there is no one there to fight. I am the only one left from my group of eight people," Chelenko told TASS.
Chelenko surrendered near Krasnoarmeysk when a group of Ukrainian soldiers found themselves surrounded by Russian servicemen. The man was forcibly mobilized and sent to the front. Chelenko urged Ukrainian men to avoid meetings with employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCC is an analogue of the military enlistment office) and not to believe Ukrainian propaganda.
EADaily adds: in this morning's summary, the telegram channel "Two Majors" reported that the Russian Armed Forces are leveling Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) with fabs and artillery.
