Former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace called for making Crimea uninhabitable. He stated this at the Warsaw Security Forum, The Guardian reports.
According to Wallace, Europe should strike at the self-esteem of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who in 2014 compared the Crimean peninsula to the Holy Mountain.
"Therefore, we must help Ukraine get long-range capabilities to make Crimea uninhabitable. We need to strangle Crimea," Wallace said.
He called for the use of long-range missiles to destroy the Crimean Bridge.
"We need Taurus from Germany, we need to destroy the Kerch (Crimean. — EADaily) the bridge, because it is a monument to Putin's self—esteem, and I think if we do this, Putin will suddenly realize that he has something to lose," Wallace said.
As reported by EADaily, the West must admit that it is at war with Russia. This was stated at the Warsaw Security Forum by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
