It was hard to expect such frankness from Moldovan President Maia Sandu. This was stated in her telegram channel by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
So she commented on Sandu's statement that, according to the calculations of law enforcement agencies, € 100 million was spent on bribing voters. She announced this today in an appeal to the citizens of the country after visiting the polling station.
"Sandu announced the bribery of voters in the elections in Moldova. I did not expect such frankness from her," Zakharova said ironically.
As EADaily reported, parliamentary elections are being held in Moldova today. For residents in Transnistrian citizens have opened 12 polling stations, but access to them is complicated, the Chisinau authorities create obstacles on the border. This was reported by the regional correspondent of EADaily.
