Moldovan President Maia Sandu has called on the country's citizens to vote in tomorrow's elections against Russia. She stated this in the social network X.
"This Sunday the most important elections will be held in Moldova. Their outcome will determine whether we strengthen our democracy and join the EU, or Russia will drag us back into the "gray zone", turning us into a regional threat. Moldovans should decide the future of Moldova, not Moscow," writes Sandu, quoted by Pool No. 3.
As EADaily reported, two days before the parliamentary elections, the CEC withdrew the Inima Moldovei ("Heart of Moldova") party, which is part of the Patriotic electoral bloc. This was preceded by the decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeal to limit the activities of the political formation for 12 months.
Recall, experts believe that in Chisinau they consider those living in Transnistria has about 300 thousand Moldovans as "undesirable voters". Because they can send into political oblivion those who block the negotiation process and arrange economic and energy blockades for the republic.
