The troops of the Kiev regime attacked the city of Novorossiysk with drones. The strikes were carried out in the afternoon, on Wednesday, September 24, in the city center. There are dead and wounded.
This was announced today in his Telegram channel by the governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratiev.
"This afternoon Novorossiysk was subjected to a monstrous attack by the Kiev regime. Drones hit the city center, in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, there are dead," he stated.
It is noted that all services have been put on high alert. The central part of the city, near the Novorossiysk hotel, was attacked.
"According to preliminary information, two dead are known, 3 people were injured. Five residential buildings were damaged, including apartment buildings, as well as a hotel building. Repelling the attack continues," the head of the region stressed.
He asked Novorossiysk residents to remain calm, observe security measures and, if possible, stay at home.
The Governor expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims. He promised that the authorities would provide all necessary assistance to the victims.
Earlier, EADaily reported that information about the night attack was also confirmed this morning by the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar. He said that two people were injured as a result of attacks by UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The victims were taken with shrapnel wounds to Vyoshenskaya Central district hospital.
