Military correspondent: Trump does not understand what is happening in Russia and divorced from reality

US President Donald Trump, with his latest statements about the armed conflict on Ukraine has demonstrated a complete misunderstanding of the situation and isolation from reality.

Military correspondent Alexander Kots writes about this in his article in Komsomolskaya Pravda. In particular, he commented on Trump's dictum that Russia does not have military power, as it did not win the war in a week.

"A 40-million-strong state cannot be conquered in a week. Especially if it has decided to fight and the entire NATO bloc is arming it. The Americans also planned to conquer North Vietnam in a month. But somehow it didn't work out," the article says.

The author also categorically disagrees with Trump's theses about the "senselessness" of SMO and the fact that the Russian population is allegedly not aware of what is happening at the front.

"The war is meaningless only from Trump's point of view. His country is located across the ocean and really cares little about what is happening somewhere in Eastern Europe. For us, this war is of an existential nature," writes Kotz.

He explains that if we lose it, Russia will no longer exist as a sovereign state. We will be "bent down, robbed and deprived of any political subjectivity."

As for the awareness of Russian residents about the situation on the fronts, the American president also turned out to be unaware. We don't really have any information vacuum. The population in the outback knows perfectly well who is fighting on the Ukraine.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was surprised by the call of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, to return the "occupied" territories.
