"As a result of the attack of enemy UAVs, several objects on the territory of the Foros sanatorium were damaged. The school building in the village was also damaged. Unfortunately, there are injured and dead. At the moment, the number of injured is about 15 people, the death toll is being specified," Aksenov writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, due to the fall of the wreckage of the downed UAV, the dry grass in the Yalta area caught fire.
Specialized services are working on the spot, people are provided with all the necessary assistance, the head of the republic noted.
An air alert was announced in Sevastopol, explosions thundered there.
"The loud sounds that were heard in the city were the air defense forces destroying an aerial target over the sea near Sevastopol. According to preliminary information, no infrastructure facilities in the city were damaged," Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev explained in his telegram channel.
The military continues to work on the destruction of air targets, he added.
