NATO countries cannot afford to use expensive fighters and missiles to combat UAVs that fly into their territory. The Financial Times writes about this with reference to Western diplomats.

It is noted that several swarms of UAVs cost about 20 thousand dollars, while a missile for air defense systems costs 500 thousand dollars. And the price of one fighter can exceed $ 100 million.

As reported by EADaily, the Rzeczpospolita newspaper reported that the object that got into the house in The mine in the Lublin district was not a Russian drone, but a missile launched by a Polish F-16 fighter. The newspaper's conclusions were also confirmed by Onet's source in government circles responsible for state security.

Recall, on the night of September 10, allegedly Russian drones were spotted in the skies over Poland. According to the authorities, at least 19 UAVs were found in the country.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, on the night of September 10, the Russian Armed Forces struck at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr regions, as well as in Vinnytsia and Lviv. Targets for destruction on the territory of Poland were not planned. The range of drones that allegedly crossed the border with Poland does not exceed 700 km.
