In the city of Poltava, the Mi-2 helicopter installed on the site of the monument to the Russian Emperor Peter I, demolished in February, was removed. This was reported by the press service of the 18th Brigade of the Army Aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The helicopter was dismantled on the evening of September 18. It was installed as a temporary installation for the 10th anniversary of the brigade's creation. It was assumed that the car would stand for several weeks, but it was removed after a day.
The Public television channel reports that it was a mock-up.
It is noted that the residents of the city reacted differently to the idea of the military. For some, it was an interesting photo zone, while others feared that the Russian Armed Forces might mistake the "mock-up for military equipment" during air attacks.
As EADaily reported, a helicopter was installed in Poltava on the site of the dismantled monument to Emperor Peter the Great. This was reported by local media. According to them, this temporary exposition was supposed to last no more than three weeks.
