Two Russian fighter jets allegedly flew at low altitude over the Petrobaltic oil and gas platform in the Baltic Sea. This is reported in the social network X by the Polish Border Guard Service.
"The platform's security zone has been violated," the statement said, quoted by Kommersant.
The command was informed about the incident The Armed Forces of the country and other departments.
It is noted that the Border Service continues to monitor the situation, including outside the territorial waters of the country.
Today, Estonia also announced that three Russian military aircraft allegedly invaded its airspace, the New York Post newspaper reports. According to the government, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets entered the country's airspace for 12 minutes.
"Russia has already violated Estonian airspace four times this year, which is unacceptable in itself, but today's violation, during which three fighter jets entered our airspace, is unprecedented brazen," said Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
