In Klimovsk, a Russian citizen was detained and placed under arrest, who not only financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but was also going to leave for Ukraine to participate in hostilities on the side of the enemy. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
"A citizen of the Russian Federation has been detained by the Federal Security Service with the forceful support of the Rosgvardiya in Klimovsk, Moscow Region, on suspicion of committing high treason. It was established that from January 2024 to April 2025, a Russian made money transfers to bank accounts used for financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,"the FSB said in a statement.
As indicated, the man intended to travel to the territory of Ukraine to participate in hostilities on the side of the enemy, and also persuaded other persons to join formations opposing the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason). The detainee was arrested.
The FSB of Russia warned that all persons who agreed to assist the enemy will be identified, prosecuted and will be punished as they deserve.
