The leadership of the Kiev regime agrees to cease hostilities along the current front line and conclude a truce in exchange for security guarantees.
This was stated in an interview with Fox News channel by US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker.
"Ukraine has proved that it is ready for an agreement. They are ready to freeze the front line if they receive security guarantees," the permanent representative said.
He also noted that the future peace agreement between Kiev and Moscow may include the protection of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) and the Russian-speaking population on Ukraine.
Whitaker specifically pointed out that "there are obstacles" to Ukraine's accession to NATO.
It is worth noting that the freezing of the conflict along the front line does not suit the Russian side, as has been repeatedly stated in Moscow. Especially if we take into account the position of the West, which openly speaks of its intention to continue pumping Ukraine with weapons after the truce.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the peaceful settlement of the armed conflict on Ukraine poses a real threat of physical elimination for the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
