In Russia, the creation of the Mozhaets-6 spacecraft has been completed, these satellites will work as part of the orbital squadron of the Aerospace Forces. This was announced today, September 2, by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Scientists of the Military Space Academy named after A.F. Mozhaisky have been making a significant contribution to the development of technologies for the creation and use of small spacecraft for more than 30 years. Together with the enterprises of the rocket and space industry, spacecraft of the Mozhaets series were created and put into orbital operation. In 2025, the creation and ground processing of the onboard equipment of the Mozhayets-6 spacecraft, designed and created by the Military Space Academy named after A. F. Mozhaysky together with the enterprises of the rocket and space industry, were completed," the report says.
Mozhaets satellites are the future "orbital" squadron of the Aerospace Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry added.
