The court in A representative of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Kuban, the owner of a transshipment terminal in Tuapse and the restaurant "Old Baku" Shakhlar Novruzov was arrested in Krasnodar.

60-year-old Novruzov is accused of attempting to embezzle more than 919 million rubles. According to investigators, he tried to appropriate 100% of shares in an enterprise that owns real estate in the amount of about 919.4 million rubles. To do this, Novruzov provided a false marriage certificate in court, the press service of the Krasnodar courts reported.

The investigator stated that the accused has connections with law enforcement and judicial authorities and can hide from the investigation.
