Andrei Serenko, director of the Analytical Center of the Russian Society of Political Scientists, writes in the telegram channel that militants from Pakistan is being prepared for transfer to Azerbaijan.
Up to 50 thousand militants from among Punjabis and Pakistani Pashtuns will be sent as mercenaries from Pakistan to Azerbaijan, the transfer is supposed to be carried out through Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, Serenko reports citing Afghan and regional sources.
"Allegedly, from 500 to 1000 armed Pakistani militants involved in the "Azerbaijani project" infiltrate Afghanistan every day. According to sources, these militants are being trained with the assistance of Pakistan's Interdepartmental Intelligence. According to sources, Azerbaijani servicemen disguised in Afghan uniforms act as instructors: "Training camps are located in areas of the south-east and north-west of Afghanistan, populated mainly by Pashtuns." Sources claim that with the assistance of Turkish and Israeli intelligence services, further transfer of Pakistani mercenaries to Azerbaijan is envisaged. The cost of transferring one militant is estimated at 3 thousand dollars, and allegedly the Israeli special services have already paid for the transit of all 50 thousand mercenaries," Serenko writes.
Sources claim that the monthly salary of one Pakistani militant is $ 1,500, about 5 thousand Punjabi commanders receive $ 2,500. Commissions to intermediaries from among the Pakistani and Afghan Taliban who recruit mercenaries are provided in the amount of $ 750 per "head".
The Turkish special services plan to carry out the transfer of mercenaries to Azerbaijan by air, the sources emphasize.
The same sources claim that Turkey also intends to transfer up to 2,000 Pakistani mercenaries to undergo additional and deeper military and naval training in special training centers. All expenses for this were allegedly borne by the Mossad.
According to the same sources, "Turkey is concerned about Russia's recognition of the Taliban movement, as Moscow is trying to prevent the transfer of Pakistani mercenaries to Azerbaijan": "Russia fears the growth of Turkism in Central Asia, which threatens its security, and Turkey is the center of pan-Turkic expansion."
According to sources, "the Israeli regime plans to unleash a destructive guerrilla ground war against Iran through Afghanistan and Azerbaijan." According to sources, all 50,000 Pakistani mercenaries must complete the entire training course in Afghanistan and then be fully deployed to Azerbaijan by the beginning of spring 2026," Serenko said in a publication.
