In the Odessa region, border guards killed a man trying to escape from Ukraine to Moldova. This is reported by local public with reference to employees of the State Border Service.
According to sources, the incident occurred the day before.
Border guards noticed two men trying to climb over the fence. One of the men surrendered after a warning shot, and the second tried to run away. He was shot with an AK-74 assault rifle in a border ditch.
