The assertion that the threat of a nuclear war on the territory of Ukraine has disappeared is an erroneous opinion, European governments have not moved one iota from the position of containing Russia with the help of Ukraine. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
"Vice President (USA) J.D. Vance is mistaken when he says that in this war we have Russia and Ukraine "has no more requirements." They are there, and they haven't gone away. Just now there is a strategic pause that will either lead to the conclusion of peace or to an unprecedented escalation. Up to the use of TNW, which will allow to "postpone" the issue of Ukraine for decades, turning it into a gray buffer zone,"Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, there is not even a hint of compromise with Moscow in the position of London, Berlin and Paris. There is no quick victory over Russia, so Europe is trying to put Moscow on a tripwire — either general mobilization, or tactical nuclear weapons, or "another year or two of drudgery with unclear internal consequences," the deputy explains his thought.
"And since Ukraine, along with Belarus, is a strategic asset for a sharp increase in Russia's power, the main task (of the Europeans) is to prevent the unification of these three states into one — or at least into a strategic alliance. Therefore, until then (the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir) Zelensky will prevent this scenario, he will be supported and turn a blind eye to any lawlessness," Dubinsky notes.
