The first units of the Russian army entered the city of Dimitrov (Mirnograd) of the DPR, occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was announced today, August 31, by the head of the region Denis Pushilin.
"We see the entry of our units into Dimitrov itself. At the moment these are reconnaissance groups, but nevertheless there is information about it," he said.
According to Pushilin, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are transferring reserves to Krasnoarmeysk.
" Krasnoarmeysk. The situation [there] is more difficult in the sense that the enemy has transferred quite a large number of reserves there, is trying to keep it. They are trying to keep the pace that our fighters have gained," said the head of the DPR.
