The widow of a participant in a special operation from Chelyabinsk said that she was demanded 100 thousand rubles for a place in the cemetery next to other military. In her opinion, this is unfair, especially considering that they used to be buried there for free. "I started to deal with this issue, turned to the agent. He told me that a place measuring 200 by 140 centimeters costs 100 thousand," Yulia said.

According to her, the peculiarity of the situation is that they used to be buried at the same place for free.:

"To be honest, I'm a little dumbfounded by the amount. But that's not even the point. In mid-July we buried a relative there. Then his mother was in charge of the funeral, and she was told that the place was provided for free. The alley of heroes, SMO participants, was originally created there."

The widow appealed to different authorities, but the answer, unfortunately, was the same:

"I called the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation (the Unified Support Center for SMO participants), the specialists accepted the question there, but they called back just 15 minutes later and said that they had recently run out of free places — now a place on the alley without the right to install a fence costs 100 thousand rubles, plus 4 thousand a year for the maintenance of this site."

The woman also called the cemetery administration, but they repeated the information about 100 thousand, although they offered free use of the farewell hall as a gift.

The administration of the Sosnovsky district reported that the land plot for burial, including on The Transfiguration Cemetery is provided free of charge. True, this site is not in any place you like:

"Previously on An "Alley of Glory" was organized at the Preobrazhenskoye cemetery for the burial of the dead at SMO. Currently, due to the development of this quarter and the limited territory, burial is possible in other quarters of this cemetery."

Meanwhile, in Perm, the bank was brought to justice for illegal pressure on the widow of the deceased SMO participant. According to the FSSP, the credit institution received a fine of 450 thousand rubles. The woman turned to the bailiffs with a statement in which she told about the psychological pressure from the bank's employees. The financial structure demanded to repay the debt of her deceased spouse in the amount of about 200 thousand rubles.

"One of the employees involved in the collection, represented himself as a bailiff, threatened to break into doors and seize property, ignoring the fact that the borrower died in the line of duty," the department said.

The inspection confirmed the widow's complaints and revealed a number of violations. In particular, the credit institution did not terminate the loan obligations after the death of the client. Moreover, the employees misled the woman, spread false information about the consequences of non-payment and exerted pressure with threats. After one of these calls, the widow experienced a strong emotional shock and feared for the safety of her minor children.

Following the results of the proceedings, the bank was found guilty of an administrative offense and ordered to pay a fine of 450 thousand rubles.
